Ballard ArtWalk:
If you’ve been putting off a visit, fall is a great time to check out Ballard’s monthly ArtWalks—the crowds are a bit smaller, but the evening is still a blast. It happens the second Saturday of every month, and the next one is coming up on November 10th. We'll be open for business as usual throughout the evening, or you can just stop by for a glass of wine or kid-friendly apple cider. Things get rolling around 6pm and wrap up at 10pm—hope to see you! New Styles:
Three cheers for our two newest brands—your work-day favorite Danskos and your play-day favorite Crocs. No matter where we go these days, we see Crocs—at the park, our kids’ schools, on farmer’s feet at the Ballard Farmer’s Market, the airport…even stomping around in the rain lately. These wide and sturdy shoes are both goofy and extremely practical. Danskos, on the other hand, combine this same practical note with a European flair that makes them perfectly suitable for a day at the office. If your job calls for a lot of time on your feet, do your whole body a favor and check out these Danish classics.

July 2007: First Year Celebration
Thanks for helping us celebrate our first year in the neighborhood! We've started construction on a second store just across Market Street from our current location. The new spot, Market Street Athlete, will focus on shoes for every sport, from golf and yoga to basketball and biking. Our existing Market Street Shoes will remain open for all the stylish, comfortable shoes, boots and accessories you've come to expect. Market Street Athlete should be open in time for the start of fall sports—look for more news on our latest venture later in the summer.
